OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) is a machine to machine communication protocol for industrial automation developed by the OPC Foundation. The OPC Unified Architecture (UA) Server Interface provides client applications (such as SCADA systems) seamless and secure access to industrial automation data. OPC UA is increasingly becoming popular for data collection and control by on-premises applications and Industrial IoT applications. Being an open standard, OPC UA Server provides a common bridge for Windows based applications and Process control applications running on any operating systems.
Delpheon’s DelEdge module supports multiple industrial protocols like Modbus, HART IP, BACNet, PROFINET, etc. to connect different industrial equipment. Integration using any new protocol can be easily implemented. The data collected through these protocols are translated to OPC-UA models and exposed as the OPC-UA Server. DelEdge can also aggregate data from OPC-UA server supported PLCs.
Direct Support for OPC-UA supported controllers by providing OPC clients in DelEdge
DelEdge which can act as a bridge for all legacy PLC controllers to support OPC-UA server and connect to any OPC-UA client
