Our client provides EV charging infrastructure to its customers including Charger, backend cloud and mobile Apps. They wanted to provide value added services to its customer using the data from their existing platform. Gadgeon developed the solution to collect the data, visualize it and derive insights.

Our Solution
The Challenges
- Our customer uses a third-party platform for the CPO(Charge point operator) and eMSP (E-mobility Service Provider) functionality.
- They were not able to provide any differentiated services as competitors also use the same platform.
- Hence it was necessary to overcome the restrictions caused by the platform.
- Customer wanted to create a Data lake which replicates the data from the third-party platform into customer’s platform.
- Since the third-party platform didn’t provide any APIs, this required an RPA (Robotic Process Automation) mechanism to duplicate the data and derive additional insights.
Our Solution
- Power Automate - It automates downloading the data from 3rd party platform on a periodic interval and store the data into Data lake’s raw zone.
- Azure Function – Performs the data cleaning and transformation of data collected in Data lake’s raw zone, such as:
- Duplicate removal
- Data consolidation
- Data Format conversion
- The transformed data will be stored into Data lake’s curated zone.
- Data storage & Power-BI - Data lake is integrated with Power BI and generates dashboards with additional insights.
