Developed an IoT Based Monitoring Solution, that Reduced CO2 Emission by more than 25%, in a Heritage Building in Europe

The Need

Our Customer was looking to build a technology-based solution to reduce the energy footprint of heritage buildings relying on wireless connectivity. Reducing the footprint of buildings is therefore becoming increasingly important and is featured prominently in many climate measures. 

Our Solution

• Adapted the energy demand based on actual use preventing wastage. 
• Integrated smart meters for heat, energy, & thermostats and sensors to detect CO2/VOC, and motion to detect presence of users and then control the lighting and heating as per the data received from these sensors.
• Completely wireless solution is deployed that enabled the deployment without any structural changes, which are usually prohibited for historical monuments & buildings.
• A module is developed for the estate management group to manage tenant related operations such as proactive scheduling of maintenance and other operations based on their actual usage profile. 
• Implemented important control switches like All off / Eco  Mode.

• Sensor integration – Smart meters and Sensors
• Wireless interface - LoRa
• Web based GUI for management of tenants
• Data analytics and Dashboarding using Delpheon Low-code platform.
