Our client was facing challenges in the real time monitoring of energy consumption from different plants and planning the operation for the plants . The existing system was using manually generated reports at the end of each day with many limitations such as non-availability of real-time status. They were looking to eliminate these challenges with a scalable, robust and cost-effective solution.

Our Solution
Dashboarding and Visualization with near real-time data
- Data collected from PLCs in near real-time using Delpheon Gateway.
- Created a data warehouse that stored data in the most consumable format.
- Delpheon Low-code platform is leveraged to create meaningful dashboards from data and helped in deriving insights.
- Integrated alerting and reporting services with configurable conditions as rules.
Delpheon Gateway
- Delpheon gateway provided a reliable and rugged solution for field data collection and aggregation
- Gateway communicated with the PLC’s via OPC-UA
- The gateway also accepts RS 485 Modbus communication from energy meters
- Data is pushed to be stored into a warehouse
Data warehouse
- Raw data is transformed, aggregated and stored into warehouse tables.
- The data is stored in format required to enable easy retrieval ,visualizations and reporting functions.
Delpheon Visualization Studio
- Delpheon visualization studio enables the visualizations and play around with data to derive meaningful and actionable insights
- User management and data management is provided in the visualization studio
